Overview of how the copy / print deadline setting works in MagManager
A copy deadline can be set as one date across the whole account or set individually for each issue.
This date will be auto-populated in the Date Due field for artwork, based on the first issue the artwork is booked into. See example below:

This example has the deadline set to the ‘Last Wednesday Before the end of the month’. The first issue the artwork is booked into is the Mar/Apr 2026 issue, so the Date Due is auto populated to 25th February 2026.

Steps to add a copy deadline to an issue
Step 1 - Going to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.

Step 3 - Select the Publication Name.
Step 4 - Select the Issues tab – click the edit icon (far right).
Step 5 - Click the Copy Deadline field and select the date from the calendar.
Step6 - Click the save icon to save the changes.

Steps to add a default print deadline
Step 1 - Going to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Settings > Select System Defaults.

Step 3 - On the right of the screen you can set the default Day for your print deadline. Choose the options from the drop-down boxes.

Step 4 - Click View Example to see the dates.
Step 5 - Click Update to save the changes.
