How to add sales targets

Within MagManager you have a choice of how sales targets are set. A single sales target can be set across all issue of the publication or individual sales targets can be set for each issue of the publication.

Steps to add one sales target across all issues of a publication

Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.

Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.

Step 3 - Select each Publication name in turn. 

Step 4 - Select the Defaults tab.

Step 5 - Locate the Sales Target (£) field > Enter the sale target amount.  This amount will apply across all issues of the publication.

Step 6 - Click Save.

 

Steps to add a different sales target for each issue of a publication

Step 1 - Go to the main Settings page.

Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.

Step 3 - Select each Publication name in turn. 

Step 4 - Select the Issues tab.

Step 5 - Click the up/down arrow in the Month header to bring the most recent issue to the top of the page.

Step 6 - Locate each issue in turn and click the edit button (pen icon) far right.

Step 7 - Enter the sales target in the Target Amount field for that issue.

Step 8 - Click the same button as before, which is now a save button (disk icon) to save the changes.

How close you are to the sales target is displayed on the Home Page / Dashboard.

October displays £4000 and 0%,  as the sales target was set to £4000 and no sales have been made.

September displays £1995.00 and 33.5%, as sales target was set to £3000 and £1005 of sales have already been made.
