NOTE: When you rename an advert size, all previous bookings will also be renamed (although the details on any invoices already raised will not change).
MagManager allows for flexible advert naming meaning you can rename existing advert sizes to suit your own naming requirements. And you can create duplicate adverts of the same size and give them different names.
This allows you to use more meaningful names across your workflow.
For example:
An Eighth Page Advert can also be labelled as classified
A Full Page Advert can also be labelled as a Sponsor Page
A 1/3 Page Advert can also be labelled as a Banner
These custom names will now appear consistently across:
Bookings
Artwork Management
Invoices
Flat plan
Steps to rename and existing advert size
Step 1 - Go to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.
Step 3 - Select the name of the publication > Select the Defaults tab.
Step 4 - Scroll down to Content Defaults > Locate the advert size you want to rename, and edit the Name text box to suit your requirements.
Step 5 - Click Save at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.
Steps to create a duplicate advert size
Step 1 - Go to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.
Step 3 - Select the name of the publication > Select the Defaults tab.
Step 4 - Scroll down to Content Defaults > Click the green + sign next to the advert size you wish to duplicate, a new line will appear named ‘advert size (duplicated)’.
Step 5 - Edit the name text box to suit your requirements.
Step 6 - Click Save at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.
Steps to delete a duplicate advert size
Step 1 - Go to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.
Step 3 - Select the name of the publication > Select the Defaults tab.
Step 4 - Scroll down to Content Defaults > Click the red X at the end of the line.
Step 5 - Click Save.
Steps to change order of advert sizes
Step 1 - Go to the main settings page.
Step 2 - Under Publications & Bookings > Select Publications.
Step 3 - Select the name of the publication > Select the Defaults tab.
Step 4 - Scroll down to Content Defaults > Click the crossed arrow, move icon to drag and drop the order of the advert sizes.
When you come to make a new booking, The new advert the order will be displayed when you click New Advert.
Flat plan view for affiliate bookings
Affiliate bookings will now display separately at the bottom of the flat plan sidebar, with an entry for each advert size booked by an affiliate, clicking the size will display the clients booked in.
Example below Affiliate 1 has booked 2 quarter pages, and further down Affiliate 2 has booked 2 quarter pages.
